Kwalata Game Ranch has established itself over the last eight years as a leading corporate conference and team building venue in South Africa.

TEAM BUILDING:

Various team building programs for both the corporate market and schools are presented at the centre.

ADDITIONAL TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES:

* Compass and GPS orienteering through the bush (can be subcontracted)
* High rope Challenge Course: Built on and amongst the islands of the Pienaars River, the course provides a challenge for the entire team as well as the individual. Activities such as river crossings, swinging logs, cargo net crossings and a Burma V bridge concentrate on teamwork, problem solving techniques and determination.

ADVENTURE CAMPS:

Phiri Adventure Camp is designed for adventure, school, church and environmental groups. This camp provides facilities for educational camps, fun filled weekend and adventure camps and a variety of environmental education programs are run by Kwalata staff. The centre has a conference facility, boma, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, as well as low rope adventure course.

The shebeen and cultural tours to neighbouring Mandela Village and Morokolong provide a unique experience for one and all. From a visit to a spy shop(informal trading post from a house), a look at life in a tin house to the drumbeat of sangomas unwinding the future while the dolosse are thrown! Finishing off at Khuwana Tavern, a Mozambican Tavern where the best Maputo braai chickens are served, this promises to be a long remembered evening.

KWALATA OFFERS THE FOLLOWING ACCOMMODATION:

Chalet No. 1 - 4:

Four thatched stone chalets in an open plan with one double and two single beds. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms. These units are ideal for families.

Chalet No. 6 - 8:

Three two-room thatched log cabins with two single beds per room. All bathrooms are en-suite. 12 max.

Chalet No. 9 - 18:

Ten exceptional thatched single bedroom suites. Every chalet has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. 20 max.
